# AI for Drug Discovery Summit Asia Singapore 2027

Programme proposal for review. Dates, venue, speakers and partners are not confirmed.

AI for Drug Discovery Summit Asia connects pharmaceutical and biotechnology teams with researchers, computational innovators and translational experts. The programme examines where AI can change a drug discovery decision, from target selection and molecular design to experimental validation and development handover. Rather than treating a model output as a breakthrough, sessions ask what evidence is needed, what failure looks like and how multidisciplinary teams can make the next decision with greater confidence.

## Draft agenda

- 08:30–09:00 Registration and coffee: Reconnect with Day 1 delegates and meet the drug discovery community.
- 09:00–09:10 Opening perspective: What evidence makes AI useful in a drug discovery programme?
- 09:10–09:30 Research Spotlight · From model to biological evidence: How to connect computational hypotheses with testable biology and appropriate experimental controls.
- 09:30–10:10 Decision Panel · The target is not the treatment: Target selection, causal biology, patient relevance and the evidence needed to commit resources.
- 10:10–11:00 Networking break: 50 minutes for scientific discussions, introductions and refreshments.
- 11:00–11:40 Innovation Demos · The discovery decision stack: Four companies, ten minutes each: targets, molecules, assays and decision support. No standalone Q&A.
- 11:40–12:20 Decision Panel · Generative chemistry meets medicinal chemistry: Novelty, synthesizability, selectivity, ADMET and the judgement that still matters.
- 12:20–12:30 Evidence briefing · A vendor evaluation checklist: Questions to ask about data leakage, baselines, prospective tests, uncertainty and reproducibility.
- 12:30–13:30 Lunch and open networking: A 60-minute lunch break, included in the delegate pass.
- 13:30–14:10 Decision Panel · The wet lab is the test: Assay quality, negative results, automation and the design of closed-loop discovery programmes.
- 14:10–14:40 Innovation Demos · Translation in practice: Three companies, ten minutes each. Show experimental feedback and the next development decision. No standalone Q&A.
- 14:40–15:30 Networking break: 50 minutes for partnership conversations and technical follow-up.
- 15:30–16:10 Decision Panel · Building a credible route to development: Translational evidence, reproducibility, data governance and expectations at development handover. Not a regulatory approval clinic.
- 16:10–16:40 Working Roundtables · Build, buy or partner?: Choose a discussion on data access, platform evaluation, pharma–biotech partnering or translational strategy.
- 16:40–17:10 Private networking sessions: Opt-in meetings for research and commercial collaboration. No guaranteed investor, regulator or pharma appointment.
- 17:10–17:20 Closing synthesis: A practical checklist for the next experiment, partnership and investment decision.
